I just bought a new record and the songs keep on skipping parts. Often crosley owners think there is a problem with one of their records rather than the turntable because only certain records will skip. This has been the second or third time that i noticed popping and skipping on a brand new vinyl all different. Eliminate the remaining dirt from the record.

If a brand new record is skipping and this is something that does not happen often on your turntable you should return it to the shop and get a new one. I actually don t believe that at all. It s only the new ones i ve purchased. If the skipping problem doesn t get fixed you need to move to use a different cleaning process.

Im not sure if my needle needs replacing but i wouldnt think so since i only got this turntable about a month ago. It is not my intention to advocate that you need a really expensive turntable to enjoy vinyl records. I read that loudness of the music is the reason and i need to adjust the weight on my needle. Let s run through some checks to see if the vinyl might be at fault.

This doesn t seem like it should be happening with new records. I ve played a few of my parents old records from the 60 s and there haven t been any problems. I m very new to the vinyl ballgame. But if your skipping problem was due to a record broken beyond repair i am sorry.

I got a new record but it like skips and makes the songs choppy i cleaned it maybe not enough and i know its not the player because 1 its brand new and 2 all my other records play perfectly fine so. If you have information or insight on the issue please help. Hopefully that was the case for you.
