Brand New Vinyl Record Skips

I m fairly new to the whole record thing and it s really bugging me that a brand new record skips.

Brand new vinyl record skips. My other vinyls play just fine without skips. He ordered me another vinyl but this one also skips on the first song. Is there a way to fix this or do i just have a dud record.

All of the vinyls i have bought so far work on this turntable accept for this one. I bought pretty hate machine on vinyl and the first song skipped. No matter what record i put down on my turntable the record skips. If the problem remains the same then there is a greater chance that it might be due to some issue in the parts of vinyl.

In some cases the dirt is on the outside of the record and the skipping will stop with simple dusting.
